The results of the study indicate that the application of the death penalty for foreign nationals, including Iranian citizens, is still considered constitutional in Indonesia as long as it is applied to the most serious crimes, such as narcotics trafficking. However, in practice, various obstacles exist, including diplomatic pressure from the convict's country of origin, the obligation to comply This research aims to analyze the application of the death penalty for foreign nationals in Indonesia and to identify the obstacles that arise in its implementation.
