The rapid development of digital technology requires elementary school students to master basic computer skills to support their learning activities. However, some students still have limited experience using word processing applications independently. This community service activity aimed to provide basic knowledge and practical skills in Microsoft Word and to build students' confidence and independence in using computers for learning. The activity was conducted at SDN 88, Bengkulu City, on August 10, 11, and 14, 2026, involving 25 sixth-grade students through socialization, material presentation, demonstration, independent practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The training materials covered the Microsoft Word interface, menu and toolbar functions, text typing, font and text size formatting, paragraph arrangement, simple document creation, and document saving. Results were measured through direct observation and students' practical performance. The 25 participating students were able to practice basic Microsoft Word functions, including typing text, formatting fonts, arranging paragraphs, creating simple documents, and saving their work. Students also showed active participation by following instructions, asking questions when facing difficulties, and completing the assigned tasks with mentoring. These results indicate that demonstration, hands-on practice, and direct mentoring can give elementary school students measurable practical experience in using Microsoft Word as a supporting tool for learning.
