The Village/Urban Village Cooperative Merah Putih is one of the policies aimed at strengthening the people's economy, directed towards reinforcing the economic institutions of the community at the village and urban village levels. In the context of Bima City, the development of the Urban Village Cooperative Merah Putih is part of efforts to expand public access to economic activities, business services, and strengthen the local supply chain. This article discusses the implementation of the Merah Putih Cooperative Seminar by KKN STIE BIMA students in 2026 as a means of education and community empowerment regarding cooperative principles, institutional governance, the role of members, business opportunities, financial management, and potential synergy between cooperatives and MSME actors. The activities were carried out through preparation stages, material delivery, discussions, Q&A sessions, identification of local economic potentials, and evaluation. The results of the activities showed that the seminar could be a space to enhance public understanding of cooperatives as economic institutions requiring member participation, transparent governance, business planning, and professional management. The seminar also provided students with the experience of connecting economic and business knowledge directly with community needs. Thus, the seminar activities can be an initial step in strengthening the community's readiness to participate in the development of the Merah Putih Cooperative independently, accountably, and sustainably.
