This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving the creativity of elementary school students in creating collage artwork from plastic waste. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects consisted of 31 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 6 Cendono, selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected through tests and documentation and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed that students’ mean creativity score increased from 42.13 on the pretest to 83.35 on the posttest. The Wilcoxon test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the Project-Based Learning model was effective in improving students’ creativity. Furthermore, the N-Gain score of 0.71 was categorized as high. Therefore, the Project-Based Learning model was effective in improving the creativity of fourth-grade elementary school students in creating collage artwork from plastic waste. These findings indicate that project-based learning can provide a meaningful learning experience while encouraging students to express their creativity through environmentally oriented art activities.
