This study aimed to examine the effect of Georuang learning media based on augmented reality on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya in learning three-dimensional shapes. A quasi-experimental method was employed using a nonequivalent control group design. The participants consisted of an experimental class that used Georuang media through the Assemblr EDU application and a control class that received conventional instruction. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observations. Data analysis involved normality and homogeneity tests, followed by an independent-samples t-test. The results showed that the mean learning outcome of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. The t-test yielded a significance value of < 0.05, indicating that Georuang learning media based on augmented reality had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in three-dimensional shape instruction. These findings demonstrate that augmented reality-based Georuang media can effectively support mathematics learning by providing students with a more interactive and visual learning experience. Therefore, Georuang is an effective alternative learning medium for teaching three-dimensional shapes in elementary schools.
