Consumptive behavior toward beauty skincare products tends to increase along with the advancement of beauty trends and the influence of social media. One factor associated with this behavior is body image. This study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between body image and consumptive behavior toward beauty skincare products. The study used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The respondents were 141 active skincare users selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a consumptive behavior scale developed by the researcher based on the consumptive behavior aspects proposed by Sumartono (2002) and a body image scale in the form of the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS), adapted by Darmawan and Agustina (2022) and modified by the researcher. Data analysis used Spearman’s correlation test with JASP. The results showed a significant positive relationship between body image and consumptive behavior toward beauty skincare products (ρ = 0.3615; p < .001), indicating that the higher the body image, the higher the tendency toward consumptive behavior.
