Abstract

Students' engagement in the learning process is very important to identificate because it affects student success in the learning process. Students’ engagement is a psychological process that shows the attention, interest, investment, effort, and involvement of students which is poured into learning work includes emotional, cognitive, and behavioral engagement. This study aimed to see students' engagement in the online learning process through lesson study because from the beginning, the learning process had good planning (plan, do & see). This study used a qualitative-quantitative approach where the qualitative approach in this study aimed to produce an in-depth description of student engagement based on speech, writing and behavior observed by the observer during the stage of "do" lesson study while the quantitative approach aimed to determine students’ engagement from the point of students' views through a survey. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were differences in the qualitative and quantitative results of student engagement in integral calculus students. In the qualitative analysis, only 12 out of 22 people showed student engagement during class discussions and/or group discussions. The rest are classified as not showing visible participation, only being seen taking notes, writing, or counting as well as facial expressions that show trying to understand the material presented, but there is still no involvement even though they are in a smaller group. Meanwhile, based on the results of quantitative analysis, there are no students who feel that their student's engagement is low both from the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral aspects.

Abstract

The individual's inability to solve problems causes distress, leading to negative emotions or affect. Some of the negative feelings that college students experience are, for example, working excessively, smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, consuming drugs, or self-harming. College students should be able to make problem-solving plans correctly based on problem-solving steps and evaluate themselves to relevant arguments in solving problems. At least college students do not do self-harm behavior as a coping in their lives because students are judged to be able to think well in dealing with the problems they face. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotion regulation and self-harm tendencies in college students. This research method uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. Sampling in this study used an incidental sampling technique. The subjects of this study were college students who were active in learning at the University of Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin, with as many as 312 subjects. The scale used in this study is the emotion regulation scale and the self-harm tendencies scale, with the scaling model being the Rating scale. The results of this study show that there is a negative and significant relationship between emotion regulation and self-harm tendencies in college students, with a coefficient (r) of -232 and a value (Sign.) of 0.000. This means if the emotional regulation is higher, the self-harm tendencies are lower. Meanwhile, emotional regulation is insufficient, and self-harm tendencies are higher.

Abstract

In addition to being a national health issue, stunting is a worldwide health concern because it lowers productivity, inhibits IQ, and causes disease in human resources. The purpose of this activity is to enhance cadres' proficiency in processing MP-ASI using the traditional knowledge of kelakai leaves in Samuda village, Belawang District, Barito Kuala Regency, as well as their knowledge base about stunting and MP-ASI. The KPM Cadres (Human Development Cadres), Posyandu Cadres, TPK (Family Assistance Team), and village food cadets are the targets of this community service project. The initial step in this activity's methodology is creating an MP-ASI Formula Book using Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris (Burm.f.) Bedd. Second, the practice of directly preparing meals and educating people about health and nutrition The information is delivered through interactive lecture and discussion methods as well as simulations. This community service was carried out over two meetings. The location for this service activity is at the Samuda Village Hall. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in knowledge after the training activity was held, namely that the level of understanding increased significantly from 0% to 100% in two aspects of knowledge, namely MP-ASI criteria and family medicinal plants that stimulate appetite. The results of the analysis of different tests showed that there was a difference in the mean knowledge scores of participants before and after being given the training (p = 0.000). Conclusion: The application of nutritional literacy with the help of formula books and job sheets has been proven to be able to increase cadres' knowledge and skills and effectively foster innovation in making MP-ASI formulas as potential family-based family nutrition boosters
