: This study examines resistance discourse strategies in Indonesian YouTube da’wah content through the perspective of Teun A. van Dijk’s Critical Discourse Analysis. The research focuses on two digital Islamic preaching contents discussing Islam and terrorism: the sermon entitled “Terorisme Bukan Islam, Islam Bukan Terorisme” and the dialogue between Khalid Basalamah and Dondy Tan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using textual analysis of YouTube video transcripts. The analysis is conducted through van Dijk’s three analytical dimensions: textual structure, social cognition, and social context. The findings reveal that Indonesian digital da’wah constructs three major resistance strategies against Islamophobia and digital secularism. First, rational apologetics, which reframes Islamophobia as an epistemic failure through logical reasoning, historical references, and discursive clarification. Second, narrative Islamization of the secular, which integrates modernity, rationality, and humanitarian values into an Islamic moral framework. Third, inclusive dialogism, which develops persuasive cross-identity communication without compromising Islamic doctrinal boundaries. The study also identifies the phenomenon of “constrained ideological agency” in digital da’wah, where Islamic content creators negotiate platform algorithms, global stigmatization, and digital media culture to maintain Islamic legitimacy within online public spaces. Furthermore, the study demonstrates an “epistemological turn” in Indonesian digital da’wah, marked by a shift from emotional preaching toward argumentative and intellectual engagement adapted to contemporary digital information culture.
