Abstract Saving is a basic financial habit that needs to be instilled from elementary school age, yet some third-grade students at SDN 26 Kota Bengkulu, Kelurahan Tengah Padang, did not yet understand the benefits of saving and tended to spend all of their pocket money on snacks. This community service activity aimed to build an early saving habit among these students. The methods used included counseling on the importance of saving, educational games introducing the concepts of money, needs, and wants, the distribution of piggy banks, and routine mentoring throughout the activity. The results showed that students gained a better understanding of the meaning and benefits of saving, appeared enthusiastic during the activity, and began setting aside part of their pocket money into their piggy banks. The class teacher also expressed willingness to continue the saving habit in class. It can be concluded that counseling combined with hands-on practice and mentoring effectively fosters saving awareness and habits among elementary school students. Similar activities need to be carried out continuously so that this habit persists as students grow older
