Effectiveness of the Caring Behavior Module on Knowledge, Attitudes and Psychomotor of Hospital Nurses in Padang City

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Caring Behavior Module on the knowledge, attitudes and psychomotor skills of Hospital Nurses in Padang City. The design used in this research is "Quasi experimental with a One Group pretest-posttest design". The sample in this study was all hospital nurses in Padang City except for nurses at Dr. RSUP. M. Djamil Padang, numbering 150 people. The research results showed that there were significant differences in the knowledge, attitudes and psychomotor skills of hospital nurses in the city of Padang before and after using the caring behavior module with a p value of 0.001 (p 0.05). The caring behavior module is able to significantly increase the level of knowledge, attitudes and psychomotor skills of hospital nurses in Padang City. There is a statistically significant difference in the knowledge, attitude and psychomotor skills of caring behavior of nurses in providing nursing care before and after using the caring behavior module. Therefore, it is recommended to be able to implement caring behavior in providing nursing care to patients by referring to the caring behavior module.
