A company's internal employment regulations must ensure fairness and comply with statutory laws—particularly regarding maternity rights as stipulated in Law Number 4 of 2024 concerning Maternal and Child Welfare during the First 1,000 Days of Life (the KIA Law), which supports the development of an inclusive society. This empirical legal study in North Sulawesi Province aims to analyze the implementation of maternity rights for female workers in supermarkets and to formulate a legal perspective on resolving disputes regarding discrimination against these rights. The findings indicate that the fulfillment of maternity rights in supermarkets still faces various obstacles and discriminatory practices that disadvantage workers. The study recommends the adoption of a fair, gender-sensitive model for resolving industrial relations disputes to ensure the protection of female workers' maternity rights.
