Rural economic development continues to face several challenges, including weak institutional capacity of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), limited business management skills, low financial literacy, and insufficient utilization of digital technology among local micro and small enterprises. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen the local economic ecosystem by improving the capacity of BUMDes and local MSMEs based on village potential in Mangulewa Village, Golewa Barat District, Ngada Regency. The program applied a participatory empowerment approach through socialization, counseling, workshops, business management practices, and mentoring activities. The partners involved were BUMDes managers and local MSME actors, with a total of 20 participants. Program evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test assessments and participant satisfaction surveys. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding from 43.8% before training to 83.4% after training, representing an improvement of 39.6 percentage points. Participant satisfaction reached 88.6%. The program successfully improved participants’ competencies in BUMDes governance, business management, financial recording, product development, and digital marketing, providing a foundation for sustainable village economic strengthening.
