This Community Service Program aimed to improve the knowledge of health cadres regarding balanced nutrition for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers through the utilization of local food in Pekuncen Village, Pekuncen District, Banyumas Regency. The activity was conducted on July 25, 2026, at the Pekuncen Village Hall and was attended by 38 health cadres. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, discussions and question-and-answer sessions, as well as evaluation using pretests and posttests. The materials covered the principles of balanced nutrition, nutritional needs of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers, prevention of anemia, Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED), and stunting, as well as the utilization of local food as a source of nutrients. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' knowledge, from 73% in the pretest to 100% in the posttest. These results indicate that the educational activity was effective in improving cadres' understanding of balanced nutrition and the utilization of local food. The cadres are expected to disseminate the knowledge gained to the community and encourage the sustainable use of local food in providing nutritious meals for families.
