Natuna Regency is a region with high potential for marine resources, but it has not been optimally utilized. One form of this utilization is the development of a marine-based recreational, educational, and conservation area through the design of an oceanarium. This research aims to design an oceanarium on Tanjung Beach in Natuna Regency that will not only function as a recreational facility but also as an educational and conservation facility. A metaphorical architectural approach was used as the conceptual basis to represent the form and character of marine biota in the architectural design. The symbolism of the giant clam (Tridacna) was chosen as a form of analogy because it signifies protection and strengthens the identity of the marine biota tourism destination area. The design method employed Snyder and Catanese's five-stage approach: initiation, preparation, proposal submission, evaluation, and action. The results of this design represents the potential of an oceanarium that plays a role in increasing public awareness and supporting marine conservation, as well as making a positive contribution to local economic development and tourism in Natuna Regency.
