This community service activity was conducted in Porang-paring Village, Pati Regency, Central Java, aiming to enhance farmers’ skills in using cabinet dryers as a postharvest processing technique. Farmers commonly face challenges such as high postharvest losses and declining product quality due to traditional drying methods that are less hygienic and inefficient. In this program, farmers were not only trained to operate cabinet dryers but also introduced to the importance of pre-treatment practices such as sorting, washing, and uniform cutting. These pre-treatments proved effective in producing agricultural products with better appearance, more attractive color, and consistent quality. The results indicated improved farmers’ ability to dry agricultural products more quickly, hygienically, and uniformly, leading to better product quality and higher market value. This activity contributes to rural community empowerment and supports local food security through the application of appropriate technology.
