This community service activity aimed to strengthen elementary school teachers’ digital competence in designing teaching materials, interactive videos, and quizzes using Genially and Canva. The activity was conducted at SD Negeri 40/I Bajubang Laut, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, on 16–18 July 2026, involving the principal and teachers as community partners. The program consisted of needs identification, platform introduction, hands-on media development, individual and small-group consultative mentoring, and evaluation through participants’ products and reflection. The activity showed that teachers developed a better understanding of the functions of digital learning media, were able to use basic Genially and Canva features to create interactive and visual learning materials, and demonstrated greater confidence in independently exploring digital media. Consultative mentoring, collaboration among lecturers, university students, and teachers, and school support facilitated the activity, while limited time, digital devices, internet access, and participants’ initial experience with web-based applications remained challenges. The activity indicates that training accompanied by contextual mentoring can serve as a practical effort to strengthen teachers’ digital competence and should be followed up so that the acquired skills can be applied sustainably in classroom learning.
