This study aims to analyze the effects of Financial Literacy, Digital Financial Behavior, and Income Level on decision-making regarding the use of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services among Generation Z in Bekasi City. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on decision-making regarding BNPL service use, with a path coefficient of 0.323 and a p-value of 0.016. Digital Financial Behavior also has a positive and significant effect, with a path coefficient of 0.523 and a p-value of 0.000. Meanwhile, Income Level has a negative and significant effect on decision-making regarding BNPL service use, with a path coefficient of -0.176 and a p-value of 0.000. These findings suggest that higher levels of financial literacy and better digital financial behavior contribute to more informed decision-making in the use of BNPL services. Conversely, a higher income level is associated with a lower tendency to use BNPL services. This study highlights the importance of financial literacy and prudent digital financial management in supporting responsible decision-making regarding the use of digital financial services.
