<![CDATA[Household waste management is an important part of maintaining environmental cleanliness, public health, and environmental quality. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding of residents of Cihuni Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency, regarding source-based waste management, organic and inorganic waste sorting, the 5R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, and Refuse), and the utilization of used materials into useful products. The activity was conducted through socialization, material presentation, discussion, sorting demonstrations, and simple practices using used gallons or bottles as separated waste bins. The activity strengthened participants’ understanding of the importance of source separation and encouraged a different perspective that used materials can still have functional value. Separated waste bins made from used materials served as a practical example of Reuse and Recycle and as an educational medium for the community. The activity demonstrates that combining education, simple facilities, and hands-on practice can be an initial step toward more responsible and sustainable waste management behavior.]]>
