This study examines the role of Instagram in the Padarincang community's resistance movement against the planned Rawa Danau geothermal project in Serang Regency, Banten, which has faced over a decade of organized opposition. Using the hashtag #savepadarincang as the primary unit of analysis, the study employs a mixed methods approach combining Social Network Analysis (SNA) through Gephi 0.11.2 and netnography to map both the structural and communicative dimensions of the movement's digital ecosystem. The SNA maps a network of 83 nodes and 421 edges, finding that #savepadarincang holds the dominant structural position with the highest weighted degree (92), betweenness centrality (0.3405), and closeness centrality (0.803). Modularity analysis identifies five distinct communities with a score of 0.641, each performing specialized communicative functions ranging from ideological consolidation and territorial grounding to technical counter-argumentation and national solidarity networking. Netnographic analysis of caption content and interaction patterns reveals three dominant content typologies, namely documentary, mobilization, and counter-narrative captions, and identifies three actor categories whose coordinated contributions sustain the movement's communicative layers. The discussion argues that these structural and qualitative properties reflect a deliberate strategy of multi-framing and hashtag bridging, while also proposing actionable recommendations for strengthening the campaign through secondary hashtag reinforcement, coordinated actor collaboration, and cross-cluster audience expansion. The study concludes that Instagram functions as an active infrastructure of mobilization that enables the movement to contest dominant development narratives, sustain communicative continuity, and accumulate digital resources for long-term advocacy.
