This study aims to determine the effect of dumbbell wrist curl exercises and dumbbell double arm swing exercises on the pointing high lob ability of athletes at the Sparta Petanque Club. Pointing high lob is a fundamental technique in petanque that requires wrist strength and arm stability to accurately direct the ball to the target. Preliminary observations revealed that many athletes still struggle with wrist control and power during high lob throws. Therefore, strength training is crucial for improving these technical skills. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre-test post-test model. The sample consisted of 20 male athletes from the Sparta Petanque Club, divided into two groups: Group A (dumbbell wrist curl) and Group B (dumbbell double arm swing). The results showed that both training methods significantly improved the pointing high lob ability. Furthermore, a significant difference was found between the two groups, with the dumbbell double arm swing group showing greater improvement. This indicates that dynamic and explosive movements, such as the double arm swing, are more effective in developing the strength and motor control needed for accurate throws. These findings suggest that strength-based training programs should be integrated into petanque coaching strategies, particularly to enhance the execution of the pointing high lob technique
