This study aims to determine the teacher's role in fostering student learning discipline in Grade III at SD Inpres 03 Kalabahi Timur. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation and interviews. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the teacher fosters disciplined character in students through role modeling, rule enforcement, habituation, praise, and educational sanctions. The teacher has carried out their duties using an educational approach and consistent supervision. Students demonstrate a commendable level of discipline, evidenced by punctuality, adherence to school rules, completion of assignments, and fulfillment of scheduled classroom cleaning duties. Although challenges such as tardiness or delayed assignment submissions arise, they are effectively addressed through teacher guidance and support. Extracurricular activities, such as the Scouts, also contribute to shaping disciplined character. Thus, the teacher plays a crucial role in instilling and developing values of discipline, and the efforts undertaken have yielded positive results.
