Abstract

Asal usul Pemerintahan Desa Mataru Selatan adalah turunan dari Pemerintahan Kerajaan ABUI sekitar tahun 1926. Nama Kerajaan ABUI dan Orang ABUI dirubah oleh Pemerintah Penjajahan Portugis yang pada saman itu bertanya kepada Orang ABUI di Pelabuhan “Eila”, dulu dikenanl sebagai pelabuhan kerajaan ABUI. Nama orang Mataru dan Kerajaan Mataru dipakai Bangsa Portugis dan dilanjutkan oleh Bangsa Belanda. Dari peristiwa tersebut, nama kerajaan ABUI dan Orang ABUI mulai kabur sehingga lebih sering disebutkan Kerajaan Mataru dan Orang Mataru. Dengan Nama Raja-Raja ABUI-MATARU Masa Bangsa Portugis, (1) Tolongban Raja Tanah (2) Litiki Banaki (3) Genla Belamou (4) Laukosi, Solokali, Kerajaan ABUI-Mataru meliputi tiga wilayah yang dipinpin oleh Kapitan Masing-masing antara lain : (1) Kapitan Mataru (2) Kapitan Welai (3) Kapitan Lembur dan Nama-nama Kapitan Mataru Masa Bangsa Belanda (1) Manijeni (2) Karibana (3) Malaipada (4) Solokali (5) Balsasar Sukorkoli (6) L.M Laupada sebagai Kordinator.

Abstract

Garbage is something that is produced from human activities and then it is not used and then thrown away. Coastal waste has become a global problem and is an issue that is being widely discussed. This is because coastal waste has an impact on the environment, economy and human health. In addition, the behavior of the community in disposing of waste on the coast is also a habit that can have a negative impact. To be able to overcome the waste problem, three aspects are needed, namely the government, society, and waste management procedures. This study aims to determine the impact of waste disposal on the coast to the surrounding environment. The type of research used in this study is a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach that refers to data in the form of words that have clear and definite characteristics. The results of this study also show that the behavior of coastal communities influences environmental damage. This is also influenced by the low level of public education about the Mola coastal area. The government can work together with the community to save Mola Beach from environmental damage caused by people's behavior.

Abstract

The matriculation program at Tribuana Kalabahi University aims to help new students adapt to the academic environment through effective initial teaching. However, to ensure that this program runs according to students' expectations, a comprehensive eval_uation of the quality of teaching is needed. This study aims to eval_uate the satisfaction of new students of the Chemistry and Management Study Programs with matriculation teaching based on aspects of teaching quality, methods, and lecturer-student interaction. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a closed questionnaire on a Likert scale of 1-5 distributed to 59 matriculation students. Data analysis using descriptive statistics showed that 87.64% of Chemistry Study Program students and 90.53% of Management Study Program students were satisfied to very satisfied with the teaching provided. Based on the existing assessment criteria, this level of satisfaction places the quality of teaching in the very good category, although there were 11.72% and 9.45% of students in each study program who were quite satisfied, indicating room for improvement. In conclusion, matriculation teaching in both study programs has met students' expectations with a high level of satisfaction, but efforts to improve quality are still needed to achieve more optimal results

Abstract

Peningkatan kompetensi dosen menjadi faktor penting dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan berkualitas, khususnya pada program matrikulasi di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Tribuana Kalabahi. Evaluasi ini dilakukan untuk menilai kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial dosen matrikulasi, serta mengidentifikasi peningkatan kinerja dari tahun sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa secara daring. Kuesioner terdiri dari empat variabel utama yang mengukur kompetensi dosen dalam aspek yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dosen pada tahun 2023 berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan rerata persentase skor keseluruhan sebesar 85,70%, meningkat dari kategori cukup dengan skor 67% pada tahun 2022. Secara rinci, kompetensi pedagogik mencapai skor 80,78%, kompetensi profesional 82,23%, kompetensi kepribadian 85,78%, dan kompetensi sosial 85,38%. Kesimpulannya, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam kinerja dosen yang mencerminkan perbaikan kualitas pengajaran di kelas matrikulasi PGSD. Hasil ini mendukung pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi dosen secara berkelanjutan guna menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di lingkungan universitas.

Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing a crisis of love for the nation influenced by the lifestyle and culture of western nations who enter Indonesia. The key to this crisis lies in human resources. For this reason, it is necessary to improve the quality of human resources through the formation of national character. The occurrence of conflicts in Alor Regency is mostly caused by minor problems, which is due to the unfavorable character of the community. Efforts to prevent all forms of horizontal conflict that occur in society through local cultural values as a strengthening of character education in the life of the Alor community. One is the Lego-Lego culture. Lego is a social capital that has been inherited by the ancestors of the Alor community. The lego-lego dance contains a very deep meaning through the values implied in poetry or rhymes which are not only useful for fellow people in an effort to strengthen relationships between individuals, build unifying values, form community character, and the government. In relation to the need for teaching materials in the form of text books based on culture and local wisdom in Alor, it is necessary to study the development of local culture and wisdom, namely Lego-lego as social studies learning resources to improve student character education. This study uses a development method with a Four-D model consisting Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study indicate that textbook teaching materials are very significant in improving students' abilities and forming student character through social studies learning in elementary schools related to local culture of Lego-lego.
