The development of a local wisdom-based curriculum plays an essential role in preserving regional culture, but its implementation faces several challenges. The primary challenges include a lack of human resources who understand local wisdom, limited relevant teaching materials, minimal support from local communities and governments, and the influence of globalization, which threatens the existence of local cultures. To address these challenges, several strategic solutions are needed, such as teacher training on local wisdom-based curriculum development, the preparation of culturally relevant learning modules, partnerships with local communities and cultural institutions, and the regular organization of cultural programs in schools. These solutions are expected to strengthen the implementation of local wisdom in education while increasing students' awareness and pride in their regional culture.
