This study aims to determine the level of anxiety experienced by roller skating athletes from Karawang Regency in facing the Qualification Round of the Regional Sports Week (Pekan Olahraga Daerah, PORDA). The research used a quantitative method with a survey approach, employing a questionnaire consisting of 26 items covering four aspects of anxiety: cognitive, emotional, physiological, and behavioral. Data were collected through online questionnaires distributed via social media and supported by direct interviews with the athletes. The results showed that the athletes’ anxiety levels were generally in the moderate to high category. Cognitive anxiety was mainly caused by social pressure and high expectations from coaches and teammates, while emotional and physiological anxiety resulted from a lack of competitive experience and limited mental training such as relaxation and focus techniques. Overall, the findings indicate that anxiety is a psychological factor that significantly influences athletic performance, both directly and indirectly, through behavioral and physiological changes. Therefore, psychological training and adequate social support are essential to help athletes manage anxiety and achieve optimal performance during competitions. Â
