study aims to describe the development of students’ mathematics learning outcomes and to determine the effect of implementing the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model assisted by Geogebra and to test the differences in mathematics learning outcomes between students who participated in Geogebra-assisted NHT learning and conventional learning in the class of SMP Negeri 40 Padang. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The study population was all class IX students of SMP Negeri 40 Padang. The research sample technique, with class IX.2 as the experimental class and class IX.1 as the control class. The research instruments were quizzes and final tests of mathematics learning outcomes. The quiz data were analyzed descriptively, while the final test data were analyzed inferentially using a two-sample t-test with the help og Minitab. The results showed that the average quiz score of students in the experimental class increased from 42,19 in the first meeting to 84,38 in the sixth meeting. The average mathematics learning outcomes of the experimental class were 56,44, higher than the control class at 38,63. The result of the hypothesis test showed a P-Value = 0,000 0,05, so there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the two groups. Effect size analysis showed a Cohen’s d value of 1,03 which is included in the large effect category. Thus, the application of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model assisted by Geogebra can support the development and achievement of students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the transformation material.
