Adolescence is a critical developmental period characterized by rapid biological, psychological, and social changes. Dietary patterns may influence not only physical health but also psychosocial development, yet research on this relationship remains limited. This study aimed to examine the association between dietary patterns and psychosocial development among adolescents. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 305 students at SMP N 13 Depok from July to November 2025 using purposive sampling. Inclusion criteria were adolescents aged 10–19 years, residing in Depok, and able to read and write. Data were collected using structured self-report questionnaires (Food Frequency Questionnaire and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire) that have been proven valid and reliable, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-square test. Results showed that 56.7% of respondents had poor dietary patterns, while 46.2% exhibited abnormal psychosocial development. A significant relationship was found between dietary patterns and psychosocial development (p = 0.0001). These findings highlight the importance of integrating nutritional education and psychosocial support in adolescent health interventions.
