Maternal knowledge plays an important role in determining the success of childhood immunization programs. Educational media such as leaflets are widely used in primary healthcare settings because they provide simple, practical, and accessible health information. This review aimed to analyze the effectiveness of leaflet media in improving mothers’ knowledge regarding the importance of basic immunization. This study employed a literature review approach by analyzing articles published between 2019 and 2026. Literature was retrieved from the Scopus and SINTA databases. Eligible studies included original research articles published in Scopus Q1–Q4 and SINTA 1–5 journals that examined leaflet-based health education for mothers related to basic immunization. The reviewed studies consistently demonstrated that leaflet-based educational interventions improved mothers’ knowledge, attitudes, and motivation toward completing childhood immunization. Several studies also reported statistically significant increases in post-intervention knowledge scores. Leaflets are an effective, practical, and low-cost educational medium that supports health promotion activities and contributes to improving maternal awareness and participation in basic immunization programs within primary healthcare services.
