Anemia is a condition that arises when there is a decrease in the number of hemo-globin or the number of red blood cells in the body. This leads to a lack of ability to transport oxygen, which is necessary to meet the physiological needs of the human body. Anemia occurs because the volume of blood is insufficient to bind and transport oxygen efficiently from the lungs to other parts of the body. Re-search Method: This research is a type of Experimental Quasy research with a One Group Pretest Posttest design. That is the research design that contains a pre-test before being given treatment and a posttest after being treated. Thus, it can be known more accurately, because it can be compared with being held before being given treatment. Results: The results of this study showed that before being given the intervention in the form of beet juice (Beta vulgaris), all respondents had he-moglobin levels below the normal limit (<12 g/dl), which means they had anemia. Conclusion: The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a value of p = 0.002 (<0.05) which means that there was a significant difference between hemoglobin levels before and after drinking beet juice. So the research hypothesis in this case Ha is accepted.
