This study aims to determine the level of misconceptions among students on dynamic electricity using a four-tier diagnostic test based on the certainty of response index (CRI). This study is a survey with a descriptive research design. The population consisted of 839 students from 2 public junior high schools in Mamajang District, Makassar with 270 students as sample. The research instrument used was a four-tier diagnostic test consisting of 10 questions that had been validated. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there were 10 misconceptions held by students, misconceptions occurred in all concepts in the dynamic electricity. The percentage and level of student misconceptions in the concepts related to electric current at 10.37% (low), electrical circuits at 25.93% (low), Ohm's law at 20.19% (low), Kirchoff's law at 10.00% (low), parallel circuits at 23.70% (low), mixed circuits at 17.04% (low), series circuits at 19.07% (low), and electrical power at 18.15% (low). Although the level of miscopception is categorized as low, it still has to be an evaluation
