Curriculum modernization has generated significant progress in learning effectiveness, yet it has also triggered a crisis of values and increased dehumanization within educational practices. This phenomenon reflects a fundamental imbalance between rational–instrumental orientations and the humanistic dimensions of education. This study focuses on formulating a conceptual solution through a value-based curriculum grounded in a humanistic perspective as an effort to reconstruct a more meaningful and humanity-centered direction of education. The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between modern curriculum paradigms and humanistic values, as well as to offer a conceptual model capable of integrating both dimensions. This study employs a library research method by examining primary and secondary sources from scholarly journals, academic books, and relevant research reports. The findings indicate that integrating modern curriculum principles with humanistic values serves as a strategic solution for promoting character development, social awareness, and learners’ spiritual growth. These results hold essential implications for the formulation of national curriculum policies and the development of holistic and transformative learning models in the global era. The novelty of this study lies in establishing a synthesized framework that unites modern rationality with humanistic ethics as the foundation for future curriculum design. Practically, the proposed model provides clear direction for policymakers to construct curriculum standards that are balanced, contextually grounded, and responsive to learners’ human development needs
