Abstract

The researcher discusses the Index Card Match Method (looking for pairs of cards) which is a fun learning method used to repeat material previously provided. This type of research is field research with a quantitative approach, namely a research method based on the philosophy of positivism. Data collection uses a questionnaire, observation and interviews. After the data was collected, the researcher used the prodact moment formula in order to find out alternative success scores for learning using the index card match method. From the percentage results, the recapitulation of the results of the questionnaire respondents answered the effectiveness of the lecture method in increasing students' learning understanding in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. has a less good and less high value, because the alternative answers yes are fewer than the alternative no, the percentage result is 44.65. While the research results from the recapitulation of the questionnaire regarding the index card match method in increasing students' learning understanding in the subject of Islamic Religious Education has a value of 89%. This is included in the very good criteria, which means that H0 is rejected, thus the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of carrying out the safar bathing ritual and the understanding of the people of Teluk Lecah Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency about the Safar Bathing Cultural Ritual. This study used a qualitative descriptive method by observing interviews with the people of Teluk Lecah Village, and also using literature study by taking material from published books and journals. Safar Bathing Ritual is one of the ancestral heritage which is considered to be able to resist accidents, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks

Abstract

Asbab al-nuzul is a study in the science of the Qur'an that contains the reason for the descent of a verse in the Qur'an. A verse cannot be understood correctly unless it is understood by understanding the principle of the descent of the verse. So by reviewing in terms of asbab nuzul a verse will provide an explanation of the law. One verse that is often debated is related to takfir which affects the understanding of takfirism by some groups. This starts from understanding textuality in takfir verses without looking at the contextuality of the verse and its asbab an-nuzul. So how important is the knowledge of asbab an-nuzul in interpreting takfir verses in the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to find out how the correct understanding of takfir verses in the Qur'an actually is. The research method used is qualitative research that is descriptive analysis using literature review. The results of this study answer that knowing asbab an-nuzul ayat al-Qur'an can be a solution to overcome takfirism

Education is a very important need for every human being. Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a very diverse diversity, from every corner of the region has its own culture and local wisdom. Bridal silat is one of the local wisdoms that can be found in every traditional Malay wedding event, in which the silat performance is performed when before the two brides and grooms ascend to their thrones, this silat takes place with the accompaniment of Malay compang or other traditional music. The purpose of this study is to find out the values contained in bridal silat and how to preserve them, using library research methods or literature studies in collecting data and information. The era of globalization has had a significant impact on the culture of the community and the young generation of this nation. Most are more proud of the presence and habits of foreign cultures than local culture, so it is necessary to make efforts to preserve it by means of culture experience and culture knowledge. With these efforts, it is hoped that the bridal martial arts will continue to develop and maintain its existence through several series of festivals, weddings and government events

Abstract

ABSTRACT The educational process is an interaction process that is carried out where the process aims to improve or add to the knowledge possessed by students. In addition, the educational process also aims to provide personality values ​​to students as well as life skills that are possible to have. To achieve this educational goal, the school cannot be separated from its relationship with the community. In a simple relationship can be interpreted as a process of communication. Or in other words a process of conveying news from one person to another. The community here can be in the form of parents, students, agencies or organizations in the community. Meanwhile, educational officials can be in the form of school principals, teachers, and staff related to the school. It can be concluded that the relationship between the school (educational apparatus) and the community is based on cooperation, not one-sided, but a reciprocal relationship in order to achieve the expected educational goals. Administration is a part of the school that functions as a support for teaching and learning activities so that they run smoothly according to what has been planned and can be achieved as desired. With the development of the era that is now better known as the era of globalization, administrative functions must be improved. Administration is important because administration can help and facilitate other subsystems such as student affairs, curriculum, personnel administration, and others

Abstract

Sulaiman I was the greatest Sultan of the Ottoman Empire who made a major contribution to Islam. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the management of Islamic Education during the reign of Sultan Sulaiman I in the Ottoman Empire. In this study, researchers used a type of library research (Library Research) with descriptive methods and historical approaches. Researchers used data collection techniques with documentation techniques, namely examining library sources such as journals, educational books, history books, and other relevant sources. The conclusion from this study is that during the reign of Sultan sulaiman Al- Qanuni in the Ottoman Turkish dynasty filled with developments and updates in various fields, including the field of education. In the context of Islamic education, the policies taken by Sultan Sulaiman Al-Qanuni played an important role in shaping and strengthening the Islamic education system of his time. Abstract

Traditional architecture is a part of culture that grows and develops in tandem with the progress of an ethnic group or nation, making it one of the identities that support that culture. The ideal representation, social aspects, and materials reflecting a culture are combined in traditional architecture.The Malay people not only have traditional houses but also possess an intriguing culture and arts, as well as beautiful handicrafts. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a literature review research design. Therefore, this study involves reviewing readings related to previous research topics on Malay Architecture and Handicrafts. Data collection was carried out by reviewing books, scholarly journals, and digital sources like Google Scholar. Malay architecture is influenced by culture and religion. Traditional Malay buildings are complete structures used as family residences, spaces for gatherings, traditional ceremonies, or shelters. Within customary tradition, these buildings are constructed according to customary procedures and are known as the "true home". In the realm of religion, buildings are erected in accordance with religious norms. In the field of traditional arts and crafts, various forms of artistry such as carving, textile crafts like songket, pelekat, telepuk, and mastuli with diverse motifs using golden threads are found. The production of these craft arts is predominantly carried out on the islands of Daik Lingga and Tambelan. Additionally, other crafts involve weaving techniques using materials like bamboo, rattan, and pandan to produce items such as mats, baskets, and various household items

Abstract

Weaving skills represent a form of local wisdom that reflects the creativity of the Malay community in Riau. The craft of weaving is not only aesthetically valuable but also socially and religiously significant, particularly in making ketupat casings. This study aims to reveal the cultural meaning and craftsmanship embodied in the process of weaving ketupat casings as a representation of traditional Malay handicrafts. The research employed a library research method by analyzing various sources related to Malay culture, coconut leaf weaving techniques, and the symbolism of ketupat in community traditions. The findings indicate that the skill of weaving ketupat casings preserves the values of cooperation, perseverance, and religiosity within the Malay community. Beyond its function as a food container, ketupat symbolizes purity and togetherness, especially during Eid al-Fitr celebrations. In conclusion, the art of weaving ketupat casings serves not only as a tangible cultural heritage but also as a medium of social learning that strengthens the identity and solidarity of the Malay community in Riau

Abstract

This research aims to determine Malay identity and leadership. The method used in the research is descriptive research with library research studies. In this research, the author uses descriptive research with greater emphasis on the strength of analysis of existing sources and data by relying on existing theories and concepts to be interpreted based on the writings that lead to the discussion. The research results are that maintaining the existence of values and culture is very important in maintaining the integrity and civilization of a nation itself. History has recorded that Malay culture is the basis for the formation of tamadun in most areas of the archipelago until now. Malay society places great emphasis on how a person behaves in placing his or her position in society. In developing the civilization and culture of the Malay society, what is certain is that the culture and noble values that exist as a combination of customs and religious values need to be revitalized and used as a core for development. A leader must be Amanah, Siddiq, Fathonah and Tabligh because he will be entrusted with responsibility. If a leader does not have the character of trust, of course what will happen is abuse of position and authority for things that are not good. That is why the Prophet Muhammad SAW also reminded us to maintain the mandate of leadership, because this will be accountable, both in this world and in the afterlife.
