This study examines the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach as a practical and efficient counseling method in helping individuals deal with various life problems that are seen as tests from Allah SWT. Using a literature review (library research) with a qualitative approach, this study thoroughly examines various theories, concepts, and previous research findings to map the effectiveness of SFBC and provide practical references for counselors. The results of the study show that SFBC, which is rooted in postmodern thinking, focuses on constructing future solutions and optimizing the internal potential of the client as an “expert” on their own life, rather than analyzing the root causes of problems or past traumas. Furthermore, this study proposes the development of SFBC through the integration of Islamic values, which include the process of self-evaluation (muhasabah), physical effort (ikhtiar), and prayer to achieve peace of mind and true happiness
