<![CDATA[This research is motivated by teacher performance which is still less than optimal. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of pedagogical competence on teacher performance at State Elementary School 008 Pekan Tebih. This type of research is quantitative research using quantitative descriptive methods with correlation. The population of this research was all 22 teachers. The research sample determined the total sampling so that the sample was 22 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis uses product moment correlation. The findings of this research are that teacher pedagogical competence is in the good category with a percentage of 73.2%, meaning that all aspects of teacher pedagogical competence have been carried out well. Furthermore, teacher performance is in the good category with a percentage of 68.7%, meaning that almost all teachers can carry out all their duties and responsibilities well. In conclusion, pedagogical competence has a significant effect on the performance of teachers at SDN 008 Pekan Tebih with the t test result being 5.361 which is greater than the t table (5.361>2.095), so it can be stated that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This research recommendation emphasizes the need for relevant agencies to carry out regular monitoring of school principals to overcome obstacles in developing pedagogical competence.
