This research aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in building students' Islamic character at SD IT Nizhammuddin, along with the supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving 32 fourth-grade students and one PAI teacher. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of PAI learning effectively contributes to the development of students’ Islamic character, as indicated by an achievement level of 79.63% in students’ daily behavior. Supporting factors include direct interaction between teachers and students, high student learning interest, and practice-based learning activities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of limited practical facilities, restricted instructional time, and large class sizes. The study indicates that the integration of religious values through habituation, teacher role modeling, and practical learning activities positively influences students’ character formation. The implication of this research is that schools need to strengthen experiential and value-based Islamic learning programs as a strategic effort to foster students’ Islamic character in a sustainable manner
