Abstract

Community empowerment both economically and spiritually is ashared responsibility. Empowerment of mustahik (people whoreceive zakat) is the obligation of Muslims who are able, especiallyamil (zakat managers) so that one day the status of mustahik canbecome muzakki (people who give zakat). As an extension of theIslamic religion, has the task of fostering both spiritually andeconomically to mustahik, this is done so that mustahik has achange of thinking, in order to be able to improve spiritualrelations with the creator and be able to increase the economicstatus to become a muzakki one day.
