Seagras beds are coastal ecosystems that provide habitats, shelter, and food resources for various marine organisms, including gastropods, which play important roles in food webs and organic matter recycling. This study aimed to analyze the community structure of gastropods in the seagrass ecosystem of Pandanan Beach, Sekotong District, West Lombok. The research employed a descriptive-exploratory method, with sampling conducted using 2m x 5m quadrat transects. The data were analyzed based on species composition, the Shannon-wiener diversity index, the evenness index, and the dominance index. The result showed that the gastropods community consisted of 1.213 individuals belonging to 44 species and 21 famlies. Nassarius Reticulatus had the highest species composition percentage at 24.07%, followed bt Columbella Rustica at 21.60%. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H’) was 2.60, indicating moderate diversity. The evenness index (E) was 0.49, also classified as moderate, indicating that individual distribution among species was not entirely uniform. Meanwhile, the dominance index (D) was 0.13, indicating that no single species dominated the overall gastropods community. Overal, the gastropods community in the seagrass beds of Pandanan Beach exhibited moderate diversity and evenness, with low species dominance.
