The research instruments consisted of a multiple-choice scientific literacy test and a Likert-scale cultural understanding questionnaire, both of which had been validated and tested for reliability. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis to assess the level of learning effectiveness. The results showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with t = -18.514 (Sig. 0.000) for scientific literacy and t = -16.850 (Sig. 0.000) for cultural understanding. The average N-Gain score of 0.565 indicated a moderate level of effectiveness, with the highest improvement in scientific literacy (0.798; high category) and cultural understanding (0.332; moderate category).
