Environmental cleanliness issues are a common problem in various residential areas, including Paropo. Lack of public awareness of waste management and minimal active participation in maintaining cleanliness are the main factors contributing to poorly maintained environments. This community service project aims to analyze the role of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) as a collective solution to address environmental cleanliness issues in Paropo. The results of the community service show that mutual cooperation activities can increase community participation, strengthen social solidarity, and create a cleaner and healthier environment. Furthermore, mutual cooperation also encourages a sense of shared responsibility for environmental cleanliness. Thus, mutual cooperation can be an effective and sustainable strategy in addressing environmental cleanliness issues in Paropo.
