This study examines the management of the akhlakul karimah habituation program through the Kotak Akhlak Baik at MI Nurud Dzolam Alas Sumur Kraksaan Probolinggo. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research aims to explore how the program is planned, organized, implemented, and evaluated to foster students’ moral character at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the head of the madrasah, Islamic Religious Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. The findings reveal that the program planning is oriented toward long-term character development and emphasizes core moral values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and social care. The organizing process involves collaborative participation among all madrasah elements, fostering shared responsibility for character education. Implementation of the Kotak Akhlak Baik encourages students’ self-reflection and intrinsic motivation through positive reinforcement rather than punitive measures. Program evaluation is conducted continuously and reflectively by focusing on observable behavioral changes. Despite challenges related to diverse student backgrounds and limited teacher time, strong leadership support, teacher commitment, and a religious school culture contribute significantly to the program’s sustainability. This study highlights the importance of systematic management and innovative media in strengthening moral habituation within Islamic primary education.
