Alahan Panjang Village, Solok Regency, is one of the onion production centers that is highly dependent on the availability of irrigation water, especially during the dry season. Farmers still rely on oil-fueled pumps and manual watering, which are inefficient, require high operational costs, and depend on the availability of conventional energy. The decrease in water discharge during the dry season causes agricultural productivity to decline and increases the risk of crop failure. This condition highlights the need for the implementation of more cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable irrigation technologies. This community service activity aims to implement solar-powered water pump technology as a solution for providing irrigation water for onion farmers. The method used is participatory, with mentoring conducted through the stages of needs identification, design, implementation, training, monitoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity show that one solar-powered irrigation pump unit was successfully assembled, installed, and handed over to the Kumbang Jantan Farmers Group, and it is functioning properly to support agricultural irrigation needs. In addition, training and mentoring activities were also carried out so that members of the farmer group gained knowledge and skills in the operation and maintenance of the solar-powered water pump system. Through this activity, the implemented technology is expected to be utilized independently, effectively, and sustainably by the community.
