An effective crescent kick for attacking and breaking an opponent's attack must be supported by physical power training. Satria Muda pencak silat athletes are quite adequate in performing kicking techniques, but they lack physical power, resulting in inaccurate and slow kicks during training. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leg muscle power training on the speed of crescent kicks in athletes from the Satria Muda Pencak Silat Club. This research used a quantitative method with an experimental design in the form of a single-group pretest and posttest. The population and sample of this study were 10 Satria Muda Pencak Silat Club athletes in Banda Aceh. Data collection for this study was conducted through the following stages: 1) pretest of crescent kick speed, 2) treatment of leg muscle power training, 3) posttest of crescent kick speed. The results of the t-test showed a sig value (2-tailed) = 0.000, which is less than α 0.05, or 0.000 ≤ 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that leg muscle power training has an effect on the speed of the sabit kick in athletes of the Satria Muda Pencak Silat Club
