The low jump height in the smash movement of male volleyball players at SMAN 1 Baitussalam. This results in less effective smash attacks. This phenomenon is related to limited lower-body muscle power and the lack of effectiveness in the physical training program. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of squat jump training on improving smash jump height among members of the boys’ volleyball club at Baitussalam State High School 1. The research method used was quantitative with an experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 11 members of the boys’ volleyball extracurricular club at Baitussalam State High School 1, selected using total sampling. Data collection was conducted by measuring volleyball smash jump height before (pretest) and after (posttest) the application of the squat jump training intervention. Hypothesis analysis using SPSS via the Paired Sample T-Test indicated that the squat jump training had a significant effect on the difference between pretest and posttest values. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significance value (two-tailed) of 0.000. This value is lower than the set significance level (α) of 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05). Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. The conclusion is that the squat jump exercise has an effect on the smash jump height of male volleyball extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam, Aceh Besar
