Mathematics plays an important role in life and is closely related to the development of science and technology. Successful mathematics learning requires strong problem-solving skills and self-regulated learning. However, these abilities remain relatively low, indicating a need for innovation in instructional models. This study aims to determine whether students taught using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model show greater improvement in mathematical problem-solving skills compared to those taught through conventional methods. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The subjects were Grade XI students of SMA Pasundan Majalaya, consisting of an experimental class using PBL and a control class using conventional learning. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. The results indicate that students taught through the PBL model demonstrated a significantly higher improvement in mathematical problem-solving skills than those taught conventionally.
