This study was motivated by the low English vocabulary mastery of fourth-grade students at SDN Terondol, with 15 of 30 students scoring below the minimum passing criterion (70) due to teacher-centered learning and unengaging media. It aimed to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by Word Search Puzzle media on students' English vocabulary mastery. A quantitative pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was applied to 30 students (saturated sampling). Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using Shapiro-Wilk, Paired Sample t-Test, and N-Gain. The results showed the average pretest score of 47.50 increased to 82.83 in the posttest, with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 (< 0.05), so H1 was accepted. The N-Gain of 0.666 (66.64%) fell into the moderate category, and the student response questionnaire reached 83% (very feasible). It is concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by Word Search Puzzle media significantly affects the English vocabulary mastery of fourth-grade students at SDN Terondol.
