Abstract

Sosialisasi pentingnya pendidikan bagi generasi muda bertujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat di desa Cikerai agar mampu memberikan pendidikan yang baik dengan bersinergi antara pendidikan di sekolah, keluarga, dan pendidikan di lingkungan masyarakat, serta mendorong motivasi masyarakat agar bisa mempertimbangkan pendidikan sampai jenjang yang lebih tinggi sebagai bekal generasi penerus di masa depan sehingga bisa berdayaguna dalam pembangunan nasional. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Cikerai, Kota Cilegon, Banten dihadiri pula oleh masyarakat, perangkat desa, serta tokoh masyarakat desa Cikerai. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan melakukan survei lapangan, persiapan dan sosialisasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terkait pendidikan yang tidak hanya diberikan oleh sekolah sebagai pendidikan formal, melainkan pendidikan dapat berjalan baik dengan adanya dorongan Pendidikan oleh orang tua dan Pendidikan yang diberikan pada lingkungan masyarakat. Masyarakat termotivasi untuk menata masa depan anak-anaknya melalui pendidikan agar mempersiapkan sebagai generasi muda yang dapat bertahan hidup di era perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V B SDN Pematang 3 dan siswa kelas V A SDN Pematang 2 Kabupaten Serang setelah mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V B SDN Pematang 3 dan siswa kelas V A SDN Pematang 2 Kabupaten Serang berjumlah 70 siswa. Keterampilan sosial siswa diukur berdasarkan peningkatan persentase keterampilan sosial siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterampilan sosial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V B SDN Pematang 3 dan siswa kelas V A SDN Pematang 2 Kabupaten Serang dalam pembelajaran IPA. Keterampilan sosial siswa membaik dari 65,45 sebelum perlakuan menjadi 89,17 setelah perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan penerapan modul cetak dan modul elektronik berbasis kearifan lokal untuk melihat indikator karakter Cinta Damai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 44 siswa kelas VA dan kelas VB di SD Negeri 2 Kota Serang. Dari analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Karakter cinta damai siswa dapat dilihat pada penerapan modul elektronik dan modul cetak. Dari kedua bahan ajar tersebut, karakter cinta damai siswa dengan penerapan E-Module dominan pada kategori sangat baik, sedangkan karakter cinta damai siswa dengan penerapan modul cetak dominan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the process of learning to write narrative essays in Indonesian language learning through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach and improve learning outcomes of narrative essay writing skills through the CTL approach to the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Bojongjengkol 03  Ciampea District, Bogor Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The researcher uses an action research model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which includes the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Bojongjengkol 03, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency, totaling 25 students. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, namely the first cycle consisting of 3 meetings and the second cycle consisting of 2 cycles. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. The data collection instrument used learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. To test the validity of the instrument in this study using construct validity using expert judgment. Research data obtained from observation and test learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and descriptively qualitatively. In the learning process in cycle I, the teacher applied the CTL approach. In the first cycle, the students' narrative essay writing skills increased from the pre-cycle results, the students' average score was 64.84 and increased to 66.12. Learning in cycle II the teacher applies the CTL approach combined with group discussions. Cycle II the average score of students increased to 75.16. In the first cycle, only 54.29% of students who finished learning increased to 100% in the second cycle. The results showed that the CTL approach could improve narrative essay writing skills.

Abstract

The learning process will be effective if it is aligned with the students' readiness to obey the rules and regulations of the school that reflects their discipline and responsibility characters. The learning that is designed 'by' employing the board of discipline as a medium that can provide an understanding of the discipline guidelines for school participants. This study aim was to examine the students’ improvement of discipline and responsibility characters by applying the disciplinary board media based on a problem-based learning model. The study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experiment design of pretest and posttest control group design. The study population used all students of class II which was determined by purposive sampling technique. Additionally, the technique of data analysis was descriptive statistics assisted by SPSS 26.0 using the N-Gain improvement test. The results showed that the use of the learning media of the discipline board which was based on the problem-based learning model affected the improvement of students' discipline character on average 44.7 with a correlation of 0.463 and responsibility on average 43.13 with a correlation of 0.535. The use of disciplinary board based on problem-based learning model has a positive effect on improving the character of discipline and responsibility of students simultaneously.

Abstract

Teknologi robot telah menjadi bagian integral kehidupan modern, dan literasi teknologi menjadi penting dalam memahami dan berinteraksi dengan dunia yang semakin terhubung dan canggih. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana sosialisasi teknologi robot di lingkungan pendidikan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan literasi teknologi pada peserta didik. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan di SDN 2 Teras Bendung, Desa Kamaruton, Kecamatan Lebak Wangi, Kabupaten Serang, Banten. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini survey lapangan, wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, persiapan, sosialisasi, dan analisis konten kegiatan sosialisasi robotik yang diimplementasikan dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi teknologi robot melalui pendidikan berdampak positif pada literasi teknologi peserta didik. Partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembuatan dan pemrograman robot mengaktifkan keterampilan kognitif, pemecahan masalah, dan kreativitas. Interaksi langsung dengan teknologi robot mendorong pemahaman mendalam tentang prinsip teknologi dan konsep pemrograman. Peserta didik dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berkolaborasi dan berkomunikasi dalam konteks teknologi. Kesimpulannya, sosialisasi teknologi robot dalam lingkungan pendidikan efektif meningkatkan literasi teknologi peserta didik. Dengan mengintegrasikan kegiatan robotik pada kurikulum, sekolah dapat membantu peserta didik mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang teknologi, mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk mengehadapi tantangan dunia teknologi modern, dan memungkinkan berpartisipasi aktif dalam masyarakat yang semakin terhubung secara teknologi. Diperlukan lebih banyak penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi metode terbaik dalam mengintegrasikan sosialisasi teknologi robotik dalam konteks pendidikan untuk hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

Education aims to prepare students to become a generation that is able to face all the challenges of the times and solve social problems in their environment based on social science concepts that are analyzed scientifically and think critically. The application of the inquiry learning model in the 2013 curriculum through the stages of data collection, analysis, and making hypotheses helps students become people who can think critically scientifically by using social studies concepts. The aim of this study is: a) Knowing the mechanism of the Inquiry Model can be used to improve critical thinking skills in students' social studies learning, b) Knowing how to apply the inquiry model to social studies learning in the classroom, c) Knowing the characteristics of critical thinking, d) Knowing the supporting components of increasing critical thinking skills by applying the inquiry model, and e) Knowing the stages of how to build critical thinking patterns and their effects in improving critical thinking skills by applying the inquiry model. The steps of the Inquiry model are the basis for critical thinking and can be used as a thinking map. The process of reasoning systematically, logically and deeply accompanied by scientific arguments along with evidence in the form of data or accurate information so that conclusions can be obtained that can be accounted for can be used to train critical thinking

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT), especially PowerPoint, for integrated thematic learning with the theme of energy saving, in the energy and motion subtheme. The method used is research and development, and one of the important procedures is the validation of PowerPoint-based learning media. Qualitative validity was carried out on 41 fourth-grade teachers in the city of Medan, North Sumatra, and the results showed that the media had good quality. The media was then tested on 32 fourth-grade students of a public elementary school in Medan, North Sumatra. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes from 68.94 to 76.72. In addition, powerpoint-based learning media has a positive effect on students, and where they feel very happy when using it

Abstract

Kesulitan belajar merupakan suatu hambatan atau gangguan yang dialami oleh siswa akibat adanya ketidakseimbangan antara kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh siswa dengan tujuan yang seharusnya dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan wawancara guru dan kepala sekolah. Upaya untuk mengetahui hambatan siswa dalam pembelajaran memerlukan beberapa teknik diagnostik kesulitan belajar yakni: (1) Identifikasi perilaku, hubungan sosial, prestasi dan latarbelakang orang tua siswa. (2) Melihat buku  kegiatan sebagai acuan dalam melihat apa yang mendominasi kesulitan belajar siswa. (3) Melakukan observasi, wawancara siswa dan wali murid serta pemberian tes. (4) Memperkirakan alternatif pertolongan dengan merancang program yang akan diberikan dan cocok untuk siswa. (5) Menetapkan program yang dirasa paling cocok dan menentukan waktu pelaksanaan program tersebut. (6) Pemberian belajar tambahan pada saat jam istirahat.

Abstract

Reading, writing, and counting (calistung) are fundamental skills taught early to students and have become a significant issue in the learning process of upper elementary classes faced by teachers at the primary school level. This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties in calistung and the efforts made by schools and teachers to address these difficulties in upper elementary school students. The research method employed is qualitative, using a case study approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research sample consisted of upper elementary students (grades IV to VI) who experienced difficulties in calistung, selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis technique involved stages such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate the presence of calistung learning difficulties among upper elementary school students, which include pre-academic and academic learning difficulties influenced by internal and external factors. Pre-academic learning difficulties involve deviant student behavior and language development disorders, while academic learning difficulties encompass challenges in reading, writing, and counting. The study suggests that calistung learning difficulties in upper elementary schools can be addressed through teachers designing effective learning activities based on student needs and providing counseling services for students facing learning challenges.
