<![CDATA[Research Aim: This study aimed to analyze the strategy for selecting a contract manufacturing company as a production partner for soft milk candy at PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi. Design/Methods/Approach: The study was conducted from November 2025 to March 2026. The research approach included internal and external condition analysis (SWOT), identification of alternative contract manufacturers through an exploratory study, and multicriteria decision-making using the pairwise comparison method and the factor rating method. Primary data were obtained through interviews and assessments from six experts consisting of company management, academics, and industry practitioners. Research Finding: The weighting results indicated that raw material quality (0.261), production capacity (0.153), and production cost (0.118) were the priority factors in selecting a contract manufacturing company. Three alternative companies analyzed were PT IU, PT IM, and PT FIT. The factor rating results showed that PT IU obtained the highest score of 83.143, compared to PT IM (78.929) and PT FIT (76.788). Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The findings of this study identify and prioritize key factors that can be utilized to enhance the decision-making process in selecting production sites for soft candy, particularly in the context of the company’s constrained resources. Practitioner/Policy Implication: These findings recommended PT IU as the most suitable contract manufacturing partner to support the development of soft milk candy production at PT Bogor Sari Nutrisi.
