This study explores the role and function of the traditional house “Lamban Dalom” in the customary law system of Kebandaran Marga Balak in Lampung Pesisir. The research is motivated by the need to preserve cultural heritage amidst the dynamics of modernization and weakening of traditional values. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis in Negeri Olok Gading, Bandar Lampung. The findings indicate that Lamban Dalom serves not only as the residence of the Sebatin (traditional leader), but also as the center of cultural, social, and legal activities in the Marga Balak community. The leadership system is hereditary, involving a hierarchical structure of Penyimbang Bandar, Paksi, Tiuh, and Suku. Lamban Dalom becomes the central point in traditional ceremonies, conflict resolution, and cultural education. The research concludes that Lamban Dalom holds strategic importance in maintaining the identity, authority, and continuity of the Lampung Saibatin cultural system, and should be preserved as a cultural heritage site and traditional governance center.
