<![CDATA[ Based on observations at SMA Negeri 1 Mempura, history lessons are often considered boring and monotonous due to the heavy memorization and conventional lecture methods, which leads to low student interest and less than optimal learning outcomes. Therefore, interactive learning media is needed to increase motivation. This study aims to determine the implementation and effectiveness of Word Search Puzzle media on student learning outcomes in history.his quantitative study used a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with 30 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Mempura. Data were collected through tests and analyzed using statistical tests to compare results before and after the media implementation.he results showed a significant improvement in student performance. The average score increased from 54.77 in the pretest to 82.78 in the posttest. The N-Gain calculation yielded a value of 0.62, classified as moderate. Hypothesis testing yielded a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant effect.n conclusion, Word Search Puzzle media significantly improved student learning outcomes. More than just entertainment, this media creates an active and effective learning atmosphere for understanding historical material.]]>
