HUBUNGAN DISIPLIN BELAJAR DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS KELAS IV SDN KECAMATAN SUKARAME

Abstract

The problem of this study is still low learning achievement IPS. The purpose of the study was to determine the significant relationship between the discipline of learning and academic achievement IPS. The study population of this entire class IV Elementary School in District Sukarame with the number of 344 students, followed determine the engineering cluster sampling, the obtained Village Way Dadi SDN 1 Way Dadi and SDN 2 Way Dadi with the number of 115 students, used the formula slovin the obtained sample of 53 students. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation formula. The study states that (1) there is a significant and positive relationship between the discipline of learning and academic achievement IPS, the correlation coefficient 0,781. (2) there is a close relationship between the discipline of learning and academic achievement IPS with a correlation coefficient of 0,781 greater than rtabel is 0,271.Masalah penelitian ini adalah prestasi belajar IPS masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan signifikan antara disiplin belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh kelas IV SDN di Kecamatan Sukarame dengan jumlah 334 siswa, dilanjutkan menentukan dengan teknik Cluster Sampling maka diperoleh Kelurahan Way Dadi yaitu SDN 1 Way Dadi dan SDN 2 Way Dadi dengan jumlah 115 siswa, digunakan rumus slovin maka diperoleh sampel sebanyak 53 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan signifikan dan positif antara disiplin belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS, koefisien korelasi 0,781. (2) terdapat hubungan erat antara disiplin belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS dengan koefisiensi korelasi sebesar 0,781 lebih besar dari pada rtabel yaitu 0,271.Kata kunci: belajar, disiplin, prestasi.
