HUBUNGAN PENGALAMAN BELAJAR DAN SELF-BELIEF DENGAN INTENSI MAHASISWA KPI DAN BKI MEMILIH PENDEKATAN KUANTITATIF PADA PENULISAN SKRIPSI

Abstract

Abstract Unlike in other majors, students in majors Koumunikasi and Broadcasting(KPI) and Islamic Guidance Counseling (BKI) not many choose to use aquantitative approach in research thesis (skripsi). Psychologically, thiscan be attributed to psychological factors such as the experience oflearning, self-assessment capability (self-efficacy) and themeaningfulness of the task (task value). The third variable is closelylinked to the emergence of the motivation for choosing or doing a task oractivity. This study specifically examined the relationship betweenmathematics learning experience, self-efficacy and task value statistics inchoosing quantitative approach used by students to their research thesis.The results showed that only math-related learning experiences with theintention of students is choosing a quantitative approach. Keywords: Learning experience, self-efficacy, task value Abstrak Tidak seperti di jurusan lain, mahasiswa di jurusan Koumunikasi danPenyiaran (KPI) dan Bimbingan Konseling Islam (BKI) tidak banyakmemilih menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam penelitian skripsi.Secara psikologis, hal ini dapat dihubungkan dengan faktor-faktorpsikiologis seperti pengalaman belajar, penilaian kemampuan diriĀ  (selfefficacy) dan kebermaknaan tugas (task value). Ketiga variabel tersebut merupakan variabel yang berhubungan erat dengan munculnya motivasiuntuk memilih atau mengerjakan suatu tugas atau aktivitas. Penelitian inisecara khusus menguji hubungan pengalaman belajar matematika, selfefficacy dan task value statistik terhadap pemilihan pendekatan kuantitatifmahasiswa untuk penelitian skripsinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa hanya pengalaman belajar matematika yang berhubungan denganintensi mahasiswa yang memilih pendekatan kuantitatif.
